Parish PAC is a Louisiana State Political Action Committee established to elect strong, engaged leaders for Lafayette Parish, Acadiana, and Louisiana. Founded by Lafayette Republican businessman Bobby Richard, Parish PAC is committed to addressing the emerging challenges facing Louisiana families and businesses.
Our Vision & Values
Together, we have come through global pandemic, multiple weather events, civil unrest, and political turmoil.
Now, we’re seeing serious supply-chain disruptions along with accelerating inflation impacting food, energy, healthcare, construction, transportation, and just about everything else.
Parish PAC is committed to electing strong, highly engaged leaders across Louisiana who are ready to address the unique challenges posed by the current social, economic, and political environment.

Parish PAC is organized around four core policy themes that will inform our work for the Election Cycle.
Establishing a more sustainable fiscal and regulatory balance between localities, states, and the federal government. A greater emphasis on local resiliency and sustainability is clearly needed.
Responding to rapidly emerging energy, agriculture, construction, transportation, healthcare, and supply-chain challenges and opportunities.
Addressing rapidly growing concerns around government and “big tech” censorship limiting public debate, while restricting economic and monetary freedom.
Building strong working relationships with leaders statewide to help Lafayette Parish and Acadiana in the coming legislative terms.

About Parish PAC
Joseph Bobby Richard moved to Lafayette in 1990, after a tour in the United States Marine Corps, and became a Lafayette Police Officer. During his nearly 33 years in Lafayette, he has worked as a youth minister and pastor, as well as founding Southern Defense & Security, an emerging enterprise security firm.
Bobby is a leading conservative voice in Lafayette Parish, having served as Chair of the City-Parish Alignment Committee, and a leader in our local pastoral interfaith work.
