Leadership Summit & Fundraiser
We are holding a major “leadership summit” and fundraiser to inaugurate our work and to celebrate the Bicentennial of Lafayette Parish.
About our Event
Please join us for a historic evening of awesome food, epic musical entertainment,
informative displays, and (brief, but) serious discussions about the future of Lafayette Parish, Acadiana, and Louisiana.
– Key Policy Presentations & Discussion – Key Presentations around Parish PAC Core Policy Concerns, with Parish PAC Chairman, Bobby Richard, moderated by Scott Mayor, Jan-Scott Richard: • Establishing a more sustainable fiscal and regulatory balance between localities, states, and the federal government.
• Responding to rapidly emerging energy, agriculture, transportation, healthcare, and supply chain challenges and opportunities.
• Addressing rapidly growing concerns around government and “big tech” censorship limiting public debate while restricting economic and monetary freedom.
• Building strong working relationships with leaders statewide to help
Lafayette Parish and Acadiana in the coming legislative terms.
Epic Musical Entertainment
– Kevin Naquin & Cajun Preservation: Performing Kevin’s haunting new work, “Traditional Music Unplugged” exploring the roots of his family’s music.
– Mary Broussard: Sweet, Sad, Soulful, and Seriously Spicy Ballads from Scott’s Own Radiant Singer-Songwriter. A True Delight!
Awesome Food Featuring “Chef” Toby Aguillard’s Award-Winning Jambalaya and “to die for” White Beans, along with a Who’s Who of legendary #EatMoreBoudin Delicacies from the Boudin Capital of the World – Scott, Louisiana!
